Today, I was struck with a thought. Why do humans always need more, and why do those who have more, still need more? I googled my question which had a lot to do with our evolutionary process; because of the will to survive and reproduce, humans will never be content.
Okay, so humans always want to be bigger, faster, stronger.
And aside from our evolutionary pursuit, we do it out of the need for basic essentials. Shelter, Food, Water, Social Status, Security, Love, etc… but what if everyone was suddenly sustained in all those regions. If all Basic, Physiological needs were met and humans could then take a moment to stop the grind, pause, reflect and simply be for a moment without constant concern for something more.
Which took my to my next Google search, “What would happen if suddenly every human reached self – actualization “, would the thirst for more finally be quenched?
Once again, I was met with a resounding “No.”
"As we become more, we recognize that we can become even more—possibilities we can’t even see until we are more self-actualized begin to make their way into our awareness, we set new goals, dream new dreams."

So it’s seems we have been placed here to always extended towards “more”.
I can only hope that collectively were able to redirect our purpose and instinctual drive; away from goals of power, accumulation, and reproduction to one of Collective Inheritance, where humans can be universally prosperous.
